Two Founders Meet in California

On November 5, 2015, Prof. Hamlet Isaxanli, Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, visited Berkeley, California and met with Professor Lotfi Zadeh, an Azerbaijani scholar, the father of the theory of fuzzy logic in the field of artificial intelligence, and a professor at University of California, Berkeley, in the professor’s home. Hamlet Isaxanli and Lotfi Zadeh are two of the five founding members of Eurasian Academy. During the meeting, the two professors discussed education in Azerbaijan, the activities of Eurasian Academy, and other issues. On behalf of Eurasian Academy, Hamlet Isaxanli presented the Eurasian Legend award to Lotfi Zadeh. Photos were taken, and filming was done for a short film that is being prepared for showing at the official opening ceremony of Eurasian Academy planned for later this month. L. Zadeh expressed his hopes for the future of Azerbaijan and for the successful launch of Eurasian Academy.
